Database Health Check - Program BS425

To run this program:
Click on the Tools tab on the main menu.
Click on the option Health Check - BS425.
Screen BS425S01 will appear


About this program:
This program scans your database data looking for irregularities.

Step 1 - Select a database
The default database will be selected automatically on startup. MOST users have their data in this location.
Advanced users can use the Pop-up to select another database for testing.

When you start the program the Fix Anomalies checkbox is Unchecked AND disabled (greyed out).

Step 2 - Test
Click this button to initiate the scan.
In the event of anomalies found in your data, a list is displayed.
If anything is found, please report the incident by email to ask@bankgenie.net

If Bank Genie finds a known, fixable anomaly, then the Fix Anomalies checkbox is checked by the program AND enabled (black text).
In this case, click the TEST button again.
In this second scan, Bank Genie will fix known anomalies.

Some anomalies cannot be fixed by Bank Genie.
Usually, they can be fixed by editing the transaction displayed.

Always run the TEST procedure AGAIN after Fixing anomalies to see if all fixable anomalies have been dealt with.
