Register Bank Genie - BS650

To run this program:
Click the Register tab on the main Bank Genie menu.
Screen BS651S01 will appear.

Normal Registration
Simply enter your Licence Number and click the Register button.

More Info: Internet Explorer (or Edge) is required for successful registration.
If you don’t have Internet Explorer or Edge on your computer, please download and install.
If you are not sure, just try registering.
Bank Genie will give a message if there are any registration problems.

Register by email
This option is only used in rare cases.
Contact us by email on ask@bankgenie.net if you need to use this method.
e.g. a user does not have internet connection.
When you make contact, we will send you the name of 2 files which we require from you - required in this Register by email procedure.

1. Under Setup tab on menu:-
   Bank Genie Pro 6:- start the program Preferences-BS498
   In Bank Genie 6:- start the program Preferences-BS497
   Check the checkbox Register by email (lower left of screen).
   Click Save Changes .
2. Now start the registration program BS651 again.
   A new button Register (by email) will be visible in this mode
   Enter your licence number.
   Click the button Register (by email)
   This message will appear:-
   Operation SUCCEEDED
   Please e-mail the files requested by ideasforgardens.com
   ideasforgardens.com will send you files by return e-mail
   which will register your copy of Bank Genie
3. EXIT from Bank Genie
4. We need you to send us 2 files which are located in the Core Data Folder.
   Refer to our email correspondence for the names of these 2 files.
   Under the Help tab on the main menu, start the program About Bank Genie-BS400
   Screen BS400S01 will appear
   Item 6 - Core Data folder gives the path to the Core Data Folder on your computer
5. Open your email client e.g. Outlook, gmail, and add these details
   email To: ask@bankgenie.net
   Subject: Register by email
   Attach 2 files to your email:- You will find the files we need in the Core Data folder (see 4 above).
   Send the email
   
   What happens next?
    
6. We will process your 2 files and email then back to you.
7. Make sure Bank Genie is NOT running.
8. Open our email to you and save the attachments (2 files) into the Core Data folder folder
   You will receive a message Do you wish to overwrite this/these file(s)
   Click Yes
   Bank Genie should now be registered
9. Start Bank Genie.
   If successful, you should NOT receive the message Bank Genie is not registered
