Other Restore Options

To display this screen:
Click Other Restore Options
in the program Restore-BS493
In this section:
Files which are neither Static or Live can be selected for restore in this screen (after clicking the Other Restore Options
button).
Other Restore Options are only available when restoring data to the Core database.
Example 1: Preferences
Settings
you choose in Preferences are stored in a file in the Core database.
Normally, you would not want to upset your current preferences when doing a restore.
Thus, Bank
Genie does not restore preferences when your restore Live data.
Instead, your are offered additional options (Other Restore Options) so you can pick and choose and restore
as and when required.
Example 2: Preferences
You may have 2 computers. You can
do a backup on Computer 1 and restore your Preferences settings on Computer 2.
Remember: These additional option apply ONLY to a small list of files which are neither
Static or Live.
To restore LIVE files, click the Step 3-Continue button
To restore STATIC files, visit the Product Support website and download the
FILESET.
