e.g. You have a category called Bills
You can create sub-categories like:
Bills:Electricity
Bills:Telephone
To create the sub-category Bills:Telephone, begin by setting the Category popup to Bills.
Click the New button
Screen BS421S17 appears.
Click the button: Add sub-category
Screen BS420S02 appears
Make sure the Parent for this Sub category popup shows: Bills
Continue to add the sub sub-category called (e.g.) Telephone

You can categorise your transactions to a third level.
e.g. After adding the sub-categories as in (2) above, you can do something llike this:
Category pop-up will display: Bills
Sub-category pop-up will display:
Bills:Electricity
Bills:Telephone
You can create third level sub-categories like this:
Bills:Telephone: Phone
Bills:Telephone: Broadband
To create this structure:
Set the Category pop-up to: Bills
Set the Sub-Category pop-up to: Bills:Telephone
Continue to add the sub sub-category called (e.g.) Broadband
